We are delighted to announce that the winner of the 4th annual Matt Carapiet Award for Humanitarian Architecture at University of Nottingham is Thirza Clayton
The judging panel, which includes some of Matt's friends and all previous year's winners thought Thirza’s project for a transitional safe house for female victims of human trafficking in Coventry was well thought through and translated into her design.
She was presented with her award by Greg and his sister Denise at a ceremony on June 20. She won a £300 prize and will receive a copy of a forthcoming book based on Matt's photography and journals when it’s published. She will also join next year's judging panel.
Well done Thirza!
